Glenn worked in the public sector as a speech and language therapist for 23 years before joining RCSLT. During that time, he held several leadership roles and, most recently, he led a children's service in NHS Forth Valley, collaborating with education to drive whole-systems change and reach vulnerable families living in poverty. Glenn studied leadership and work-based culture at Aberdeen University and has helped services to foster healthy workplace cultures and to prioritise wellbeing. For the past three years, he has been Head of the Scotland Office for RCSLT, influencing policy and raising the profile of SLTs and people with communication and swallowing needs.
