Outcome measures checklist
A cross-disciplinary group representing a number of professional bodies, the Allied Health Professions (AHP) Outcome Measures UK Working Group, has developed a checklist to assist individual AHPs and teams with selecting appropriate outcome measures. The checklist provides AHPs with a list of key questions to ask when selecting outcome measures.
The checklist is intended to guide discussions and support decision-making. It contains some key questions to ask when considering which outcome measure is most suitable for your area of practice.
Please note, the checklist can be completed electronically. You will need to download the form (PDF) and save the changes.
The Office of the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer held a webinar in June 2021 on Using outcome measures to drive quality improvement. Members of FutureNHS can access slides and a recording via the AHP General virtual forum resource library.
