RCSLT launches new SLT Voices section

12 September 2024

We are excited to announce the launch of SLT Voices, a dynamic new section on our website dedicated to elevating the voices of speech and language therapists. This section brings you original perspectives from speech and language therapists, as well as healthcare leaders, service users and experts who offer valuable insights and support for the ongoing development of the profession.

SLT Voices aims to be a hub of engagement and learning, featuring a range of content including blogs, articles and case studies.

Our inaugural posts showcase unique experiences and insights from across the field:

  • Linda Hindle, Deputy Chief Allied Health Professional Officer for England, explores her journey to becoming an Allied Health Professional (AHP) leader, offering tips and inspiration for those looking to advance in healthcare leadership.
  • SLT Richard Talbot discusses effective collaboration between NHS and independent SLTs, highlighting strategies that enhance teamwork and improve outcomes.
  • Clinical academic and travel enthusiast Steph Scott shares her path into research through the Integrated Clinical and Practitioner Academic Programme.

SLT Voices is accessible to both members and non-members of the RCSLT. Whether you are a member of the profession or simply interested in the latest developments, this section will provide fresh perspectives and expert insights.
