Bulletin magazine: how we connect

7 April 2025

Stay informed with what’s going on in the speech and language therapy community with RCSLT’s member magazine. The spring issue of Bulletin focuses on those networks and connections that nourish us, personally and professionally.

The latest Bulletin magazine is out now with a vibrant, nature-inspired cover to welcome the spring season! This issue is all about our SLT community: how we create those all-important bonds that nurture us and bring us together.

In our cover feature ‘Community starts here’ we visit some Clinical Excellence Networks (CENs) to find out first hand from their committee members how each CEN works and learn about their practical tips for running a successful CEN. If you have ever thought about joining or starting a professional network, this might inspire you to action! You can look for a CEN to suit your clinical area or locality on our CEN directory.

Elsewhere in the magazine we meet the Hull-based SLT team who joined forces with a local museums service to create bespoke accessible signage for their revamped exhibition spaces. We also find out more about how the RCSLT and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP) work hand-in-hand promoting all the different ways of working available to SLTs.

We are already looking forward to our 2025 conference in November, but networking isn’t just about the big moments. Making time for a coffee and a chat with your colleagues can also lead to change and learning. For more options you can pick from the RCSLT’s dynamic programme of workshops, webinars and lectures. Visit our events page to find out more.

Members can read the print copy of Bulletin or access it via the digital version on our website.
